CHICAGO BASED ARTIST

What we see is often only the surface of a larger conversation taking place within art. My work invites viewers to slow down, reflect, and notice details that might otherwise go unseen. Each piece holds the possibility of a story, whether revealed through imagery and material or formed within the viewer’s imagination. Through surreal and alternative realities I create, my work makes spaces of curiosity, reflection, and temporary escape from the familiar.
I'm especially interested in the relationship between organic and digital elements, examining how nature and technology collaborate, conflict, and evolve together. As a fraternal twin, I am drawn to dualities and contrasts, using familiarity and surrealism to reveal unexpected connections and shared experiences.
As a mixed media artist, I combine traditional and digital processes, working with watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pencil, fibers, metal, found materials, and digital tools to create layered works that blur the boundaries between physical and virtual spaces. I also work across comics, film, and sound to build immersive experiences that engage both visual and auditory senses. My films explore themes of solidarity, community, found family, and young adulthood through fantastical interpretations of everyday life.
